Today Madaline spoke to us about Celebrating UU Women in History.  We spoke learned a bit about some inspiring women.  Sophia Blanche Lyon Fahs for one, who reorganized religious education for children.  Caroline Augusta White Soule who supported herself writing articles for Universalist publications and later became the first woman minister in the Universalist church.  But there was also Judith Sargent Stevens Murray who helped develop the core concepts of Universalism, and Frances Ellen Watkins Harper who helped educate religious communities to the abolitionist cause.
